Thoughts on: I enjoyed this book. The first time I read it I think it was easier to follow along with because I read it at a slower pace, person by person. This time I just went straight through it and had to reference back a few times to see the person that was talking. I love the work of David Levithan, and I can't wait to read Nick and Norah's Infinate Playlist because I really think that I would be able to relate in some way [based on the reviews I've heard of it]. This book does get depressing at times, because of the reference of relationships and broken hearts, but some parts are so mind blowing that I just want to re-read those sections over and over until the words are ingrained into my head.

Summary: Amazon Link.
Thoughts: This was not my type of book. It was good if you like classics or books sent in the early 1920's on social expectations of women. The main character became a little bit annoying to me over the course of the book. This book is definately a romance novel, almost a mix of Pride and Predjudice and The Scarlette Letter. I, personally, didn't like either of those other books, so this one almost took the best of their two worlds and meshed them in with a character that I'm sure many young women could relate to.

Next Book: Go Ask Alice by Anonymous
The Unabridged Journals of Sylvia Plath
Both are for pleasure, and I have started both of them.
